Feeding South Florida has been helping to fight hunger in South Florida for 30 years and is a not-for-profit organization that empowers other South Florida not-for-profit organizations to assist people in need and improve their lives. We do this by providing food and other grocery products; and by educating and engaging our community to fight hunger and poverty.” We work with over 800 not-for-profit agencies throughout four counties in order to reach out to those in need. We greatly appreciate the work of volunteers and would not be able to accomplish our mission without you!

The Capital Area Food Bank, founded in 1980, distributes food annually through 700 partner agencies to 478,100 people in the Washington metro area who are at risk of hunger.  A member of Feeding America, the CAFB is the largest public, nonprofit food and nutrition education resource in the region and annually distributes 33 million pounds of food, including 15 million pounds of fresh produce.  It takes a comprehensive approach to addressing hunger by increasing access to nutritious food and initiating change through education, training and advocacy.  The Capital Area Food Bank has served the National Capital Region over 32 years.  For more information on hunger, visit the CAFB website at CapitalAreaFoodBank.org.
