2017 PACE Convention Call For Speakers

    The Professional Association for Customer Engagement is pleased to open our Call for Speakers for the 2017 Convention & Expo, April 2-5 in Tampa, Florida.

    Our annual National Convention & Expo is the signature event for customer engagement professionals, bringing together industry executives from around the globe. The event is for high-powered networking and business development, coupled with cutting edge educational content.

    The 2017 theme: Shaping the Future of Customer EngagementKeeping PACE with the Connected Customer highlights those who are shaping and innovating the world of customer engagement. The sessions will have actionable solutions related to modern customer engagement, customer experience and customer contact technology that attendees can take back to their companies right away.

    We invite you to share your best practices, latest technological advances, tips, and proven solutions by presenting at this year’s convention!

    Breakout Session Tracks

    We offer four distinct tracks covering all aspects of the Customer Engagement industry.  Preference is given to PACE members with educational topics.  Please offer solutions-based presentations or case studies that provide takeaways on topics pertinent to one of the areas listed below:

    1. Technology and Other Channels: Using Emerging Channels and Interactive Technology to Enhance Customer Experience
    2. Customer Experience: Enhancing Customer Experience to Drive Loyalty
    3. Operations/Customer Engagement Management: Contact Center Management Success for Today’s Challenges
    4. Compliance: Adapting Your Customer Engagement Strategy Within a Highly Regulated Environment

     

    Submission Guidelines

    Sessions should be 45 minutes in length, including time for a short question-and-answer period.

    Preference is given to PACE members.

    Presentation should not be used solely as a sales pitch or commercial for your company.  Case studies are acceptable, but sessions must be educational in nature.

    The submission form includes the following questions.  Please answer fully for consideration.

    • What is your experience?
    • Describe your presentation style
    • Presentation Type (presentation, panel discussion, case study)
    • Session Title
    • Session Description
    • Supporting Material (powerpoint, other)
    • Track (choose 1 of the 4 tracks offered)
    • List additional panelists or co-presenters
    • If your presentation is not selected for the PACE Convention & Expo, would you like to share your proposal with our chapters for potential speaking opportunities at a regional event?
    • Describe how you would promote your session
    • Full contact information on the proposed speaker(s): name, title, organization, address, phone and email

    The deadline for submission is December 31, 2016.  Selected speakers will be notified within 2-3 weeks of the deadline.

    Presentation Logistics

    •  Letter of Acceptance:  If your proposal is selected, an electronic Letter of Acceptance will be sent to you by January 16, 2017.  It will include a timeline and templates to assist you in planning.
    •  Presentation Guidelines:  If your proposal is accepted, you are required to forward your session content on the PowerPoint template provided by PACE by the deadline included in your Letter of Acceptance.  Your materials will be included on the PACE website members section after the conference.
    •  Expenses:  Selected presentation submitters will receive a complimentary convention registration.  A comp code and link to the registration website will be included with your acceptance email.   Speaker travel, accommodations and other expenses are the responsibility of the presenter.
